American Fifth Gin, fresh lime juice, house-made simple syrup, Angostura bitters, fresh mint

2 oz. American Fifth Gin
3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
1/2 oz. house-made simple syrup
Dash of Angostura bitters
6 mint leaves

Muddle mint with house-made simple syrup in shaker tin. Build all other ingredients in iced tin. Shake. Double strain into chilled coupe glass. Garnish with activated mint leaf.
